| The economy of the village depends mostly on agriculture. Most of villagers do paddy cultivation and some of the villagers do chena cultivation too. They sell the paddy and vegetables to the market and find their living. But a common grievance among the villagers is that they have to spend a great deal of money for fertilizer and insecticides and therefore, they do not get the due in return for their labor and expenses. |
